We interviewed several real estate agents, but we knew Alicia was the right one within a few minutes of meeting her (my husband and I have different styles but we both agreed on this). She brought the market analysis and data that my husband wanted and she brought the empathy and excellent advice that I wanted. Alicia never hesitated to tell us the hard things (like that there was probably just one perfect buyer out there for our house, not 10, due to the size and layout of our house) and never gave false hope or flimsy reassurance. She was able to work as essentially our project manager and get all the contractors lined up and doing the work needed to get our house ready for sale on an aggressive timeline. She had a great team of contractors who were available to put in new carpet, refinish the hardwood floors, paint everything inside and outside and get lots of little repairs done as well. When it came time to set a price, she gave us the market data and her best advice, but never pressured us. She is shrewd, strategic and seasoned and that really came through when we were negotiating with buyers and needed to figure out our approach. Alicia was also always available, responding to texts and phone calls quickly and coming out to our house (even though she doesn't live that close) at a moment's notice. She did things that certainly weren't part of her job description, like moving branches out of the way and picking up pears that had fallen from the pear tree when our landscapers hadn't taken care of it, and bringing garbage cans down. I moved out of the country in the middle of this whole process but I was confident that she would see it all through successfully. We were lucky to find Alicia.

Alicia has been absolutely amazing! We bought two homes in SE Portland with her and through it all, I felt like she was my partner, through and through. First, she was incredibly responsive and I never got the feeling that she tired of my questions about properties. I appreciated her honesty and her willingness to visit any property I was interested in, even if she wasn't necessarily too keen on it for us herself. In a nutshell, I would say Bobbi goes the extra mile, and then some, for her clients, from inspections to getting quotes to following up with the other agent with questions to helping navigate the nerve wracking offer stage. She also knows a ton about the world of renting properties, which was especially valuable to us. The absolute best thing about Bobbi is that I truly felt like she was working for us, and wanted the best for us, given what she had learned about us, despite what that might mean for her, commission-wise. And if you happen to not be in the area you're looking for property in, as in our case, Bobbi will truly be your eyes and ears on the ground. She's worth real estate gold!

I've now bought and sold a house with Alicia Dart and both experiences were perfect. She knows the real estate business inside and out. If you tell her honestly what you're trying to accomplish, she'll come up with a thoughtful, clear path to get that done. The key is that you have to listen to what she says and follow through. She sold our house in three days for above listing price, in what was supposed to be considered a tough market. I watched other houses sit on the market, drop their price, and even delist while we were preparing for sale.
